Jo gives #celebstudies conference keynote

CCI’s Jo Littler took a train to Amsterdam last week to deliver the first keynote (‘A constellation of anti-celebrity’) of the 2016 Celebrity Studies conference. Around 200 international scholars from a range of disciplinary backgrounds attended over the three days, with a packed programme of events and papers including work on Nigel Farage’s use of social media, the non-fame of female film directors and work on micro-celebrifying the self.
