Post-postfeminism?

Rosalind Gill has a new paper out this month in a special issue of Feminist Media Studies co-edited by Jo Littler, Alison Winch and Jessalynn Keller about generations. In her piece, Ros considers recent suggestions that we have left ‘postfeminism’ behind and that the current era, far from repudiating feminism, has embraced it enthusiastically. Looking critically at the new mediated visibilities of feminism, Ros refutes the view that the work of feminists is done, and offers an impassioned argument for the continued relevance of critical terms like postfeminism and neoliberalism.
