Andy is Visiting Professor in Singapore

Andy Had a busy late summer and start of term. He was invited to Singapore Management University to advise on the development of teaching programmes in the field of cultural management, and help support research. Andy gave several seminars to staff (at SMU and at NUS) and the policy community, and artists, where he discussed the research that underpins both the recent report for the British Council on Creative Hubs and their governance, and the book that he is preparing with CCI’s Ros Gill, and Tarek Virani of QMUL on the experience of working in creative hubs. The visit to Singapore gave Andy a much deeper insight into recent policy initiatives that are taking place in Singapore and South East Asia more generally.
