Blue Plaque for Chiang Yee
Diana was invited to speak at ‘The Silent Traveller: Chiang Yee in Britain 1933-55 Symposium’, organised to mark the unveiling of his blue plaque in Oxford. She spoke alongside writers such as Paul French and Frances Wood and academics such as Sarah Cheang, Da Zheng and Anne Witchard, with a paper was entitled ‘Chiang Yee and Shih-I Hsiung: Mutuality, Conviviality and the Economy of Racial Representation’.
