Jenny gives a keynote in Belgrade, Serbia

On November, 17th 2021, Dr Jenny Mbaye from the Centre for Culture and the Creative Industries (CCCI) was invited to give a keynote lecture at the conference ‘Creativity an Innovation in Theatre, Media, and Culture Production: Visions and Values for the Future’.

The conference was organised by the Department for Management and Production in Theatre, Radio and Culture, which was celebrating 60 years since it was founded.

It was noted by the host that along with the MA Culture, Policy and Management at City, University of London, the Faculty of Dramatic Arts MA in Belgrade was a pioneer programme in Europe dedicated to arts, culture, management and policy in higher education.

Drawing on case studies from the African continent, Dr Mbaye offered a contribution entitled ‘Cultural Policy, Governance and the Art of Understanding What Works’.
