Well done Rachel!

Congratulations to Dr Rachel O’Neill who was awarded her PhD without corrections on Friday January 22nd. Rachel’s thesis looks critically at the London seduction community, seeing it as a site of mediated intimacy deeply shaped by neoliberal and postfeminist values. Rachel’s examiners were Professor Andrea Cornwall and Professor Diane Negra, and they commended the thesis as an exceptional piece of work and have nominated it for Elsevier’s Outstanding PhD Prize. Fantastic work, Rachel! And congratulations to Ros Gill who supervised her.
