Well done Dr Toby Bennett!

Andy was very pleased to congratulate Toby Bennett on gaining his PhD today (with no corrections). Andy has been supervising Toby remotely at KCL (where he was first registered when Andy taught at KCL).

Toby’s thesis was on ‘Non-cultural work in the cultural industries’ and comprised of an in depth exploration of workers in the music industry.

Chris Bilton (Warwick) and Sean Nixon (Essex) were Toby’s examiners, they congratulated him on an excellent thesis. Toby has already been offered a job, and on the basis of his successful viva completion he will start work as a post-doc fellow at Southampton Solent University.
