Cultural polis, governance and informality in the Global South

Dr Jenny Mbaye from CCCI co-authored an article with Dr Cecilia Dinardi (Goldsmith University), which was recently published in the peer-reviewed academic journal, Urban Studies, as part of a special issue dedicated to informality in CCI.

The article addressed issues of cultural policy and urban governance in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Dakar (Senegal), while reflecting on the concept of informality in cultural policy-making and the role of civil society.
