Another prize-winning paper

Congratulations to  our very own Rosalind Gill who is co-author of Feminist Theory’s ‘best essay award 2014’. The winning paper, on which Jessica Ringrose is first author, considers the persistence of sexual double standards in the era of sexting. Awarding the prize, the journal’s editors said “your paper makes an important, coherent and confident contribution to both girlhood studies and feminist theory”. Well done to Ros and colleagues for this impressive achievement! Are you going to need a bigger office to store all the prizes?!
