“This book is foremost a journey of innovative knowledge production, exploring the role that art can play in transforming cities and societies. In working with art organisations, Forces of Art focuses on story-telling; sharing these organisations’ experiences in a way that informs academic and policy debates. In doing so, it reminds us that research is never as powerful as when it is committed, engaged, political, action-oriented and people-centred.” Jenny & Miranda
