Andy in Vienna

Andy Pratt visited Vienna (in real life!) to attend the first meeting of the H2020 CICERONE project, which City is part of, in 18 months. This was a particularly trying time because all of the fieldwork of the project had to be conducted in the period of the pandemic.

The meeting in Vienna was hosted by colleagues in the Department fo Communications , Vienna University. Andy discussed two topics that he has been involved in (with Jenny and Toby): creating a European Cultural Observatory to collate and interrogate continent wide data on the cultural and creative economy (an aim of the project is to create this); and, documenting and describing the policy and regulatory framework across Europe for the CCI.
