Creative Cities in Glasgow
On 30th April 2015 Cecilia Dinardi delivered a presentation on ‘Creative Cities’ as one of the four speakers in the Leading Early Career Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Symposium, a full-day event organised by the Urban Studies Foundation at the University of Glasgow. Prof Andy Pratt, Cecilia’s Mentor, provided a commentary on her work. Invited at the event were also researchers and senior scholars from the Departments of Geography and Urban Studies at the University of Glasgow, the Urban Studies Journal Editorial Board, and the speaker’s mentors – Prof Andy Pratt (City University London), Prof Ash Amin (University of Cambridge), Prof Donald McNeill (University of Western Sydney) and Prof Dominic Stead (TU Delft). Other presentations were on ‘Marginal Cities’ (by Michele Lancione, Cambridge University), ‘Adaptive Cities’ (by Marcin Dabrowski, TU Delft) and ‘Platform Cities’ (by Sarah Barns, Western Sydney University).
