Gender and Creative Labour: Another new book for Ros

 

Congratulations to CCI’s Rosalind Gill whose latest book, co-edited with Bridget Conor (King’s College London) and Stephanie Taylor (Open University) came out last week. The collection, which is also a special

issue of Sociological Review, brings together leading scholars and new

voices to think about the persistence of inequalities in the cultural and

creative field. It has a strong focus on the film industry – including

looking at some fresh areas of investigation such as working conditions

for stunt artists – and also includes articles about classical musicians,

travel writers and unpaid interns.
