Day two of teaching will be held on Wednesday 1st November 2022 and will explore the Digital Scholar and Digital Literacies in more detail, including:
- The concept of the Digital Scholar (Weller, 2011) and the idea of blogging, using social media, public engagement, LSE Impact Blog etc.
- Considering both digital literacies of your students and your own digital literacies
- Introduction to video creation: tools and techniques
- Blogging as academic practice – guest speaker, Dr Jenny Scoles, University of Edinburgh
This session will include a hands on session where you will be introduced to some tools and technologies for making a DIY video – to develop your own digital literacies.
