The webinar provides a brief overview of the Family Food Experience – London study (funded by NIHR) with a focus upon the qualitative research in the study directed to answering a key study question: What are the contexts of deprivation faced by participating families and how are they experienced in relation to food practices and health? It highlights the importance of lived experience research and details the qualitative methods (sit down interviews and Go-along walks) and recruitment used and the narratives of family foodways (the cultural practices, beliefs and values in relation to food and eating within a specific community) and conclusions of this research.
