Refusing to be Silenced WOW festival March 8th

At an event as part of the WOW (Women of the World Festival) at the Southbank on March 8^th. Debbie Dickinson organised and participated in the Refusing to be Silenced event which featured live music performances with Lorraine Jordan and Lana Estemirova and a panel discussion featuring Vian Dakhil (Iraq) the only Yazidi MP in Iraq’s parliament; Obiageli Ezekwesili (Nigeria) founder of the ‘Bring Back Our Girls’ movement to rescue the 300 girls of Chibok abducted by Boko Haram; Angelina Atyan (Uganda) who has tirelessly campaigned to rescue girls abducted in Uganda by the Lord’s Resistance Army, including her 14 year old daughter Charlotte. The panel was chaired by Channel 4 News International Editor Lindsey Hilsum
