Jenny gives a keynote in Bern

On October, 18th, in Bern (Switzerland), Jenny gave the keynote introducing the 3rd Biennale Conference of the German-Speaking Branch of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music (IASPM D- A -CH).

In her intervention for this two-days conference entitled ‘Pop, Power, Positions: Global Relations and Popular Music’, Dr Jenny Mbaye spoke about the borderlands of Hip H(P)op music, looking into the intersections between creative storytelling, identity politics and cultural governance.
