Third space of innovation

Andy Pratt gave a seminar at the Urban Lab, at UCL this week (13 Nov). Andy discussed how we understand innovation, and why a relational and embedded approach is needed to capture the process of knowledge transfer and exchange. Andy called this the third space of innovation and creativity. Andy illustrated his paper with three case studies of: a recording studio, a creative hub, and an art /architecture crit.
