CCCI PhDs present work in St Gallen, Switzerland

Prof Andy Pratt has been a visiting fellow at Universities in Zurich and St Gallen over the Easter period; as part of this process he jointly arranged an informal PhD session that allowed current PhDs in CCCI to exchange their research with PhD scholars in Switzerland. The students involved were: Insub Song, (Paul) Young Choi, Jin Lim and Kay Rasool. Dr Toby Bennett and Dr Matías Muñoz Hernández also joined us as CCCI members.

The event was a hybrid one, on line and physically in the University of St Gallen at the brand new ’Square’ multimedia learning complex. PhD students valued the opportunity to present to a wider audience, and to make links with fellow PhDs in the fields of Cultural Policy, and Strategic Management. Andy, along with Prof Simon Grand (St Gallen), and Prof Christoph Werkle (Zurich School of Art) agreed that the event was successful and plan to arrange a follow up in London next year.
