Andy Pratt at Singapore Art Fair

Shortly after leaving No 10 (see parallel post) Andy hopped onto a plane to Singapore where he appeared at the Singapore Art Fair along side world famous architect Rem Koolhaas and equally esteemed sociologist Saskia Sassen. The ‘talks’ strand was called Southeast Asia Forum, Seismograph – Sensing the City: Art in the Urban Age. See reports here

Andy was in discussion with Tim Renner who is  Permanent Secretary for Cultural Affairs in Berlin debating urban cultural policy and the creative city.

As well as participating in the event Andy was also able to meet colleagues that he has previously worked with from the architecture school at ETH Zurich who have a laboratory on the Future city at National University of Singapore (NUS). Andy also met up with colleagues from the Yale-NUS college and the programme on urban studies.
