Journal office moves to City

The leading international academic journal ‘City, Culture and Society’ has moved its headquarters to City. Andy Pratt was a founding Editor of the Journal more than 10 years ago. The editorial office was previously based on Osaka, Japan reflecting the foundation team and the aim of the journal to establish itself outside the North America/European core so as to reflect urbanisation and culture globally. The journal has always had a focus on younger researchers and reflecting the diversity of urban cultural experiences.

This year Andy took over as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal and established a new editorial team including Dr Marianna D’Ovidio (Bicocca University, Milan), and Dr Jenny M’Baye (City). The team are very pleased to note that the journal has now entered the first quartile of most highly cited journals in the field globally.
