Creative Industries Federation: research report kicks off

Andy Pratt has taken on the role of Chair of the Steering Group of the Creative Industries Federation (CIF) Research Project. The aim of the research project is to produce an annual research report for the Creative Industries Federation documenting the development and challenges facing the UK Creative Industries, and highlighting policy responses to address them. Andy is working with Jonathan Needlands (Warwick University) who is Research Project Director, John Kampfner, Chief Executive CIF, and a team of researchers from across the sector. Jonathan chaired the Warwick Commission Report (WCR) on cultural value. It is hoped that the CIF reports will carry forward, expand and develop, the work of the WCR. The CIF is a membership organisation of employers, individuals and universities (including City University)  involved in the creative industries that is seeking to provide a unified voice for all of those working in and for the creative industries across the UK.
