Through this Industrial Consortium, City’s Centre for Compressor Technology provides a forum for industry and academia to coordinate pre-commercial research on industry-relevant compression technologies for the energy transformation sector.
The Industrial Consortium for Compressors and Expanders in Future Energy Systems (CERES) is created during the project SECRET at City’s Centre for Compressor Technology to provides a forum for industry and academia to coordinate pre-commercial research on industry-relevant compression technologies for the energy transformation sector. Howden, a Chart Industries Company has been a founding member of CERES, and findings from Project SECRET have been presented and discussed in members’ meetings along with other 8 projects running at the moment.
Members from Howden see a great potential in CERES and a great opportunity to promote the Centre and attract additional resources necessary for performing world-leading research that tackles global challenges.
