Acceptable content:
This blog shall not be used to display, transmit or store text or images or other data which could be considered offensive such as pornographic, racially abusive or libellous material. The test here is not whether you, or your peers, find content offensive; it is whether such content could be deemed offensive to others.
The following also applies:
- No one shall make use of the blog to harass any person or group of persons.
- No one shall make use of the blog to undertake or assist in a criminal act.
- No one shall produce, use or promulgate material which could bring the University or any part of the University into disrepute. In particular, this implies that using a blog post entirely or largely for advertising purposes, including product links, is not permitted.

Persons submitting material, other than University information, to this blog are solely responsible for the material and for any claims relating to its content, whether made against the University or otherwise. The University reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any content which it has been notified is objectionable, whether or not the objection is substantiated, and otherwise to review, edit or delete any comments posted by users which it deems defamatory, unlawful, threatening or otherwise objectionable
