Recycling Duel 2015-16

What is it?

The Recycling Duel is part of the Sustainable City Challenge. It is a tournament style recycling competition based on results from audits on staff kitchen bins.

How will it work?

Round 1 (November to December 2015)

Staff teams will be randomly split into 3 groups. Following the audits, each team will be ranked individually against every other team within their group.

Points will be allocated as follows:

  • 2 points for a ‘win’ when ranked against another team in the group
  • 1 point for a ‘draw’ when ranked against another team in the group
  • 0 points for losing when ranked against another team in the group

At the end of the ranking exercise, the top 4 highest scoring teams in each group will proceed to the next round and will earn 1 point each towards their overall score for the Sustainable City Challenge.
