A lifelong learner and entrepreneur, Joey Lin is an experienced professional in education and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education at the University of Surrey. With a diverse academic background spanning the United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, and China, Joey has led several ventures in the field of educational technology. Prior to launching his firms, Illume Research and LEAPS Research International, Joey was awarded a scholarship for a Ph.D. nuclear energy program at the University of Cambridge, but instead, chose to chase his entrepreneurial dream instead. Today, after just a few years, his organisation has emerged as a frontrunner in Project-Based Learning and virtual mentorship, with close partnerships in the UK’s top universities, as well as Pearson Edexcel. Joey has also authored multiple books on research and PBL.
