Dr Andrew Cobb – Lecturer in Biological Sciences

Dr Cobb gained a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of East Anglia before moving to King’s College London in 2010. He worked as a research associate in the Cardiovascular School of Excellence where he investigated molecular causes of ageing, with particular focus on accelerated ageing disorders and vascular calcification. He then spent 2 years as a Teaching Fellow at King’s before moving to City, University of London as a Lecturer in Biological sciences in 2023. His current position is a cross-school role, where he teaches varied aspects of biology to students involved in different areas of study.
