We’re proud to be supporting Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025!
This week is all about challenging misconceptions, breaking down barriers, and celebrating the incredible strengths and talents of neurodivergent individuals.
Together, let’s create a more inclusive world that understands and champions neurodiversity in all its forms.

We aim to support our students in a variety of ways at Library Services, including providing services and spaces to improve accessibility, and access to tools, technology and software.
Software
We provide a selection of software and tools designed to enhance your studies. Here’s how they can help:
- Listening tools: Enable text-to-speech and screen reading to assist with absorbing written materials.
- Speaking tools: Allow you to dictate text, control your computer with your voice, and convert spoken words into text for easier communication.
- Vision aids: Help by magnifying your screen, customizing pointers and cursors for better visibility, highlighting key areas, and reading on-screen text aloud.
- Productivity and organization tools: Support literacy, improve planning and scheduling, and help structure ideas through mind mapping.
See our Assistive Technology guide for more details of specific software and locations.
Books
Our print display highlights books that dive deep into the topic of neurodiversity, featuring both expert perspectives and powerful lived experiences.
We’ve also curated a neurodiversity reading list, crowdsourced by the Mental Health and Wellbeing team, Library Services, and the Office for Equality and Inclusion at City St George’s.
Reading for leisure? You can find a selection of fiction, non-fiction and wellbeing titles through Libby. If you prefer non-visual reading, you can also find a collection of 500 audiobooks to enjoy wherever you go.
Upcoming workshop
Join us this week for a Tips for digital reading workshop where we’ll explore tools to make reading digital texts easier and more enjoyable. This is an informal session where you can gain some experience and ask questions of library staff.
