LEaD and IT have launched a new Learning Analytics Pilot System, to help staff identify students who may not be engaging with their studies, in order to provide them with tailored support.
The dashboard provides staff with Moodle engagement data and formal assessment results. Work is also underway to incorporate other data sources, such as attendance.
The Learning Analytics Project (LeAP) team is initially working with Heads of Academic Services, Student Engagement Officers and Attendance Officers to see how Learning Analytics can fit into their student support models. The team will then work with Schools to identify other staff members who may require access and training.
