Welcome back and Happy New Year!
We delayed the annual Christmas awards as we ran a little late with the Summer awards – so now’s the time to get seasonally adjusted with a new batch of Awards…
There are two £250 awards available twice a year; two at Christmas and two in Summer. These awards recognise significant contributions to Library Services by individuals and teams over the preceding academic year. Awards may be given for nominations arising out of, for example, exceptional customer service, excellence in the completion of a specific project or simply recognition of exceptional work beyond your usual duties.
You can put yourself forward for a prize, nominate a colleague or enter a team (for which the shared award is £500); more details on the nomination form attached.
The awards will be judged by an Awards Panel (composed of Library Exec and a rep from HR) and presented in February.
If you wish to make a nomination, please complete the attached form and email it to me, Paul Banks, chair of the Staff Development Group, by 5pm, Thursday 31st January.
