We know that Level 3 of the Northampton Square is one of the most popular areas in the Library for group work. Lots of you need to work together on a PC to research or prepare group assignments, but up to this point, all the PCs on this floor were set up for individual work. We’ve noticed that this can mean that groups end up squashed around one PC with little space to work.
So we have now installed six additional PCs that should make group working easier. These collaborative PCs are spread out with plenty of desk space in between them. Two or three students can comfortably work together at one screen, and have room to check additional printed materials or notes.
You can use these PCs for individual work too, but be aware that there may be more groups at the surrounding desks.
