This year the libraries at Northampton Square and Cass will be undertaking a full stock check. This will ensure that CityLibrary Search displays and accurate representation of our physical stock, and mean that things are easier for you to find. Both law libraries were done last year.
We will be starting at both libraries this week, so watch out for small teams of library staff out among the books. To do the stock check library staff will be scanning every single book in the library using a small handheld scanner. There will be some noise associated with this work, even in the silent study areas. We apologise for this disruption, we are doing this work at the quietest time of year to minimise disturbances. If you are disturbed by the noise then there are a lot of other study spaces available throughout the libraries.
