Since October 2020, we have been able to provide you with remote access to Bloomberg, in addition to our terminals on campus. Bloomberg offered this temporary disaster recovery model to support universities through the pandemic, whilst access to on campus terminals was limited.
We have now been informed by Bloomberg that their temporary remote access model will end effective 30th June. This means that, from 1st July, our access to Bloomberg will be from on-campus terminals only with no remote access.
From 1st July, Bloomberg access will be available to you at:
- Business Library and Bloomberg Finance Lab at Bunhill Row
- Financial Resources Suite in the Northampton Square Library
You will be able to book a terminal in advance on the library bookings page. This will be updated later this month.
We understand that this will be unwelcome news for many of you, but this is a decision which has been taken by Bloomberg management and will be applied to all their university partners.
