Moodle guidance
The Educational Technology Team are continuing to update the Moodle guidance on www.city.ac.uk/edtechhelp/staff. We have marked guidance on new features with a NEW! to help you identify changes to functionality. This post highlights some of the key guidance that you might find useful in developing your modules in Moodle 2.6.

Content creation improvements
- Do you need more formatting options than Atto text editor currently provides? Did you know that you can turn on the previous TinyMCE editor from the My profile settings. Our Atto guidance has been updated with instructions on how to do this.
- If you would like to display the content of a folder on a module homepage have a look at the updated guidance on creating a folder.
Assessment improvements
- The Quiz guidance has been updated to reflect the changes to the Quiz activity.
- If your students submit their assignments as PDF you can mark directly on the PDF without downloading the assignment. The guidance on adding grades and feedback has been updated to include this.
