Getting to know Moodle 3.6
- To help you make the most of the new features and to find your way round Moodle, we have developed some User tours that will play when you access Moodle. These will highlight key improvements and new features on the My Moodle page and on module pages.
- You can review our series of posts and screencasts on this blog for an overview of what’s new and improved in Moodle 3.6.
Preparing your modules for the new academic year
To prepare your modules for 2019/20, you can review the guidance on module set up for information on timelines and processes for the development of Moodle modules. When developing your Moodle module for 2019/20, current accessibility regulations state that the structure of your module and the design of your content must be accessible.
By making your content more accessible, you will be improving the experience for all your students. Review our guidance on making your module structure and office documents accessible.
To help you to organise and structure your Moodle module, have a look at the guidance available on our Ed Tech Guidance site.
Ed Tech Refresher Sessions
Join us on one of our Ed Tech Refresher sessions. These sessions will provide an overview of what’s new and improved in Moodle and then provide a pick-and-mix of interactive activities on other technologies. Take part in as many or as few of the activities as you want. Topics will include the new lecture capture controls on the DALI presentation pods, creating screencasts on Kaltura Capture and an introduction to best practice in digital accessibility.
