The overall theme for the conference focuses on Assessment and Feedback for Learning.
Within this theme there are a range of sub-themes you could focus upon for your abstract and these include:
* Assessment design including inclusive assessment
* Engaging students with feedback
* Formative assessment linked to summative assessment
* Self and peer assessment
The conference is open to City staff and external colleagues and we would like you to share your practice, innovations and pedagogic research. Tell others how you have designed assessments for learning, engaged students with their feedback, developed formative assessment linked to summative assessment or how you have used peer assessment . We anticipate that this topical theme will provide excellent opportunities for discussion and, debate during the conference. Proposals for papers and posters are invited which relate to the overall theme and at least one sub-theme.
Last year the conference attracted over 120 delegates from City and beyond with a wide range of speakers and poster presenters.

Here are just some of the Comments from last year:
Very good speakers and lots of energy from everyone.
Excellent insight in to daily and forward thinking practices, it was a great experience and I took away a lot of ideas and things to consider. I would recommend such an event to any academic involved in learning and teaching.
Excellent – well managed and delivered, lots of great content
The sessions were all relevant to what we are doing at my institution. They were thoughtful, well-organized and insightful.
