City seeks to recruit an Educational Technologist as part of Digital Education in the Learning Enhancement and Development (LEaD) Directorate. LEaD is a multiskilled service that supports, develops, and influences education at City, University of London. We contribute to educational strategy; run a Master’s in Academic Practice; work with staff to further develop their pedagogic practices; help implement and develop educational technologies and learning spaces; and support students in need of learning support.
This is a permanent position based within the School Liaison part of LEaD Digital Education. You will be linked to the School of Health and Psychological Sciences, the School of Policy and Global Affairs and the School of Communication and Creativity and work with School academic and professional staff on school-specific educational projects and initiatives.
You will also work in conjunction with the Digital Education Operations team to provide relevant support and training for the Schools and will have the opportunity to work with the Digital Education Projects team on cross-institutional projects.
You will have experience of providing advice and guidance on the appropriate use of technology to support learning, teaching and assessment, managing small-scale projects and delivering training on a one-to-one and small group basis. You will have a collaborative approach, excellent IT, communication and organisation skills and be able to work flexibly in a complex working environment.
