Moodle will be unavailable from 8pm Friday 3rd July to 8am Monday 6th July 2020. This is to update Moodle to the latest release (v3.8), optimise the database and allow enough time to resolve any issues that might arise following the update. You will not be able to access modules or run any activities on Moodle from 8pm on Friday 3rd July to 8am Monday 6th July.
Watch days (at risk period)
We categorise the Monday and Tuesday as ‘watch’ days, where the system will be monitored closely, but should be running as usual.
What’s changing?
There are a few important feature changes and a number of small improvements in Moodle 3.8. The big-ticket items are the improvements to Forums, including the ability to grade Forum contributions, and the initial steps to integrate H5P (interactive content) into Moodle.
