LEaD have recently started a new project to research user experience of our sites. This includes the staff hub site, the Learning and Teaching hub, and the Learning at City blog (this research does not include the Educational Technology guides). The aim of this project is to refresh these LEaD sites and communication channels so that staff using our services and expertise can locate what they are searching for more efficiently. We are interested in knowing how staff currently use these sites, what is useful and not useful about them, and whether users find our resources helpful, and easy to find.
In order to gather feedback, LEaD have created a short survey asking for staff to expand on their experiences of using these sites and communication channels. This survey is open to all staff members at City and we would especially appreciate it if staff who have encountered LEaD services, either once, or often, take this survey, to understand how we can better communicate with you. If you have never engaged with any of LEaD’s resources, you are still very welcome to participate.
How to take part:
If you are a staff member at City, University of London, and are interested in contributing your feedback, you can find a link to the survey here: LEaD Communication Channel Survey.
The survey itself consists of questions about LEaD sites and includes a section for staff to suggest how to better improve them. The survey is anonymous and should only take 10 minutes to complete. When answering the questions, please include as many details as you can. Deadline: The survey closes on 16th February 2024.
What will happen with the results?
Once the survey has closed, the feedback will be analysed alongside insights gathered from focus groups on the same topic (call for volunteers will be in a separate blog post). These findings will then be used to write a report informing the team of ways in which we can improve these webpages to give stakeholders a better overall view of LEaD and our activities and services.
