Moodle 3.2 Pilot role

Moodle has a special Pilot role that teaching staff can request. This role provides the same permissions as the Lecturer role in Moodle, but you also get access to some new features which are outlined below. If you would like to try out any of these features; please log a request on ServiceNow to request access to the Pilot role in Moodle. Please provide the module codes of the modules where you require access to these features in your ServiceNow request.

H5P

H5P makes it easy to create, share and reuse HTML5 content and applications. H5P empowers everyone to create rich and interactive web experiences more efficiently – all you need is a web browser and a web site with an H5P plugin. Interactive videos, interactive presentations, quizzes, interactive timelines and more have been developed and shared using H5P on H5P.org.

Badges and Latest Badges block

Badges can be an effective way to motivate and engage students as they progress through a Moodle module by acknowledging students progress against module targets and goals. For example you could award badges to students on completion of induction activities to help engage students in the induction process or you could help students monitor their progress through a module by issuing badges as students complete/pass quizzes or for their participation in forums.

An activity for peer and self-assessment. It can be used to encourage student collaboration and self-awareness

Configurable Reports block

Configurable reports is a block that allows you to  create custom reports about how your students are using your modules.
